Live Inspired is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization created to provide a replication site of the ParentChild+ (www.parentchildplus.org) in Medina County Ohio. ParentChild+ has a proven method for serving under-resourced families by building language-rich homes and promoting positive parent-child interactions, thereby developing earlier literacy and social skills necessary for school readiness. Over a two year period, trained home visitors provide biweekly visitations during which a book or educational toy is gifted to two- and three-year olds and their parents. By modeling joyful play and enthusiastic reading for the parents, this program empowers economically and educationally disadvantaged parents to become their child’s first, best teacher and inspire a passion for learning in their child. The goal is that children will enter school prepared to learn and will graduate from high school on time as productive citizens of their community.

Our organization connects families in need with individuals motivated to use their time, talents and resources to serve young families through the ParentChild+ of Medina County. As a faith based organization, Live Inspired is partnering with local church members who are committed to caring for their neighbors in this tangible way.
